To Life! is committed to ensuring our website is accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We know that many of the people we serve are navigating this site during a difficult time, and we want that experience to be as easy and welcoming as possible.
Our Approach
We aim to meet the [Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA] — a widely recognized standard for web accessibility. This is an ongoing effort. As we redesign and update tolife.org, we’re working to:
- Provide clear, consistent navigation
- Use sufficient color contrast
- Make sure content works with screen readers and keyboard navigation
- Add descriptive alt text to images
- Structure headings logically so content is easy to scan and navigate
Ongoing Work
Accessibility is not a one-time fix, and we don’t consider our site perfect. We’re continuing to test and improve the site, and we welcome feedback.
